Thallium is a notorious darkhopper who offers to hunt your enemies so you don't have to—for a pretty penny, of course.

Personality

Believe it or not, Thallium is actually considered pretty reasonable and chill compared to his peers. He's easygoing and playful, bantering with victims and responding to threats flirtatiously, as if he doesn't take any of it seriously. He appears unflappable, seemingly never disappointed, threatened, or frustrated. Others describe him as arrogant, but he argues that "arrogance" implies his ego is unearned, while he's certainly earned it.

Like most hackers in the Pit, he enjoys infuriating other players and radiates a suffocating aura of smugness. Unlike most hackers, or Pit players in general, he never takes drama that occurs in-game, out of the game. He doesn't associate with any groups within Pit and won't hunt political targets.

Of course, it's easy to appear unflappable when no one is close enough to you to know better. Thallium knows better than to trust other darkhoppers, with very few exceptions, so he keeps them all at arm's length. While he is genuinely playful when it comes to most things in the Pit, don't mistake that for lack of passion.

He's bright, talkative, brash, and unapologetically true to himself. Thallium is many things, but he is not a liar. He carries himself with the nonchalant confidence and poise of someone who's incapable of denying their quirks and has no choice but to own them.

In some ways, especially regarding relationships, he can actually be quite high-strung; easily jealous, highly sensitive to feeling left behind or cast aside, and quick to assume the worst. He deals with percieved slights and real cruelty the same way: avoidant tendencies. The closest he comes to lying is his complete inability to admit when something's gone wrong in his life. Fake it 'til you make it, right?

Early Life

Thallium and his older sister Isabelle were born to controlling parents in a faction far outside the Kingdom of Hypixel. While Isabelle sought to please their parents, Thallium chafed under their authority and social expectations and started making day trips into Hypixel as soon as he could, as a young teen. He was drawn to the Pit's gameplay, and then to its community, and finally to its dark underbelly, where he has remained to this day.

His feline features and the name Thallium were not assigned to him at birth. He began GMT (gene modification therapy) in secret in his late teens, then changed his legal name and moved to Hypixel once and for all the moment he turned 18.
